A little about me…

Welcome to my blog! My name is Heather and I am a daughter of my Father in heaven and wife to the love of my life, Samson. We were married January 2010 and have four beautiful children, Fiona, Kenzie, Titus and Phoebe. I spend much of my time as a homemaker, delighting in making our home a safe and lovely haven for my husband, children and friends. Some of  the things I take joy in: loving and serving my husband, homeschooling our little girls, reading books to our children, playing and listening to music, cooking nutrious meals, having tea with lady friends, observing God’s wonderful Creation and photography. I am blessed to be part of a church that boldly proclaims the gospel of Jesus Christ. My goal in having this blog is to share my life with others as I take ‘Joy in the Little Things’.

  1. Stephen re-sent me your blog. I had forgetten what it was and it has been a treat to see all the pictures and get an overview of what has been happening over the past 5 months.

I love your photographs. I especially enjoyed the pictures of you and Rachel walking in unison.

    Your blog is very inspiring.

  2. I’m so glad I’m ran across your blog this evening. 🙂
I look forward to reading more in the future!
By the looks of things here on your about me page, you probably just had your baby – may I offer up congratulations to you and your husband!
    God Bless,
    Heather Joy

  3. Hi Heather,

Just saw your blog, all your pictures and new mother worlds always bring tears to my eyes, as I see the faithfulness of God and his joy when you do things His way. I experience it vicariously through you–your life, as well as your family’s life inspire me and give me daily confidence of God’s many Promises. My mother loved us so much when we were growing up, and I guess I feel what she felt about all my brothers and sisters. It reminds me of the love I had for her and how much I miss her as well. It’s funny how the little things are the most endearing and remain in your memory for decades. What a blessing you are to me Heather!
